Billy Sheehan Talks New Mr. Big

Greetings, it's been a while, huh? Well, I'm back with a brand new interview (well - this was actually done earlier in the spring) and more to come in the near future. This time we have Mr. Big bassist Billy Sheehan. Billy chats here about the new Mr. Big record, "What If." The record is an amazing return to form for those guys, and it's simply a monster rock record to boot. Billy talks about the rekindling of the Mr. Big flame, how the guys got to talking again after a decade-plus of inactivity. He also talks about the recording of the album with producer Kevin Shirley, and how the writing was done as well. Other topics include some recollections from Mr. Big's past, the band's massive success in Asia, how he feels about the big hit "To Be With You," his thoughts on the current state of the music business, and more. Do check out Mr. Big's website at www.mrbigsite.com for more on the band's future plans. Thanks to Billy for the chat, and check back for more new interviews coming soon!
