Jorma Kaukonen Talks Career In New Interview

Welcome to a new, June 2013 interview with the legendary Jorma Kaukonen. Jorma encapsulates his entire career in this new 16-minute interview - from Jefferson Airplane to Hot Tuna, the latter of which was the main topic of the interview, used for an article in the July issue of Connections Magazine here in the Pocono mountains of PA. Jorma and his Hot Tuna compatriot, bassist Jack Casady, are in Stroudsburg, PA this July for an electric show. Jorma talks in length about Hot Tuna's recent album, "Steady As She Goes," which happens to be the band's first studio album in 20 years. Jorma also gives an insight into the Fur Peace Ranch. The ranch, located in Ohio, has been a leading catalyst for music instruction, featuring guest musicians from G.E. Smith to Steve Earle imparting their musical knowledge upon eager students.
