Here's a new January 2008 conversation with former Lovin' Spoonful leader John Sebastian. The main topic of this chat was the new CD John has out - a collaborative effort with mandolin wizard David Grisman titled "Satisfied". John talks about how the CD came about, what it was like working with Grisman, even the quirky ideas the pair had while brainstorming for the CD. John also talks about his feelings on songwriting, and even his thoughts on how the music of The Lovin' Spoonful has held up. Quite an interesting CD, "Satisfied" is full of acoustic flavors - from Grisman's mandolin to Sebastian's harmonica and guitar.
