Steve Brown Talks Trixter - Past, Present, Future

Here's a new July 2012 interview with Trixter guitarist Steve Brown. This interview was done in advance of Trixer's appearance at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs in Plains, PA Friday July 27th. The big show will also feature Warrant and Firehouse - a celebration of the infamous "Blood, Sweat, and Beers" tour that featured the same three bands during the summer of 1991. In this 20-minute interview, Steve talks about the tour and his remembrances of the era. Steve also talks about not only the band's smash debut album from 1990, but also their follow-up, "Hear!" as well as the 1994 "Undercovers" album - the last before the band's mid 1990's parting. Perhaps more importantly, Steve chats about Trixter's new studio album, "New Audio Machine." The album features the powerful, melodic sound that Trixter's known for, as well as some cool writing collaborations with people like Glen Burtnik and Snake and Rachel from Skid Row. Steve also talks about the changes in the music business over the years that Trixter got caught up in, and his other musical activities that keep him going (he's a member of the Van Halen tribute band Unchained, among other things). For a full live Trixter schedule, as well as more on the band, visit www.trixterrocks.com. Thanks to Steve for the chat - can't wait to see the band at Mohegan Sun!
