Walter Trout's 20 Years Of Hardcore Blues

Here's a brand new August 2009 interview with bluesman Walter Trout. Walter's got a new CD titled "Unspoiled By Progress: 20 Years Of Hardcore Blues." The album is a very cool compilation of 20 years of live tracks, and some new studio cuts thrown in for good measure. Walter is celebrating 20 years since he left John Mayall's band, achieving worldwide success with his own solo band. This interview covers Walter's thoughts on the new record, his recollections of being a sideman for legends such as John Lee Hooker and Mayall, and also his take on the evolution of his own solo band over the past two decades. Make sure you check out more info on Walter's blazing new CD at www.waltertrout.com, it's some intense blues/rock ear candy. Thanks so much to Walter for the interview - he's truly a world class professional, and a nice guy to boot. Here's to another 20 years Walter...
