Here's a brand new September 2011 interview with Trans-Siberian Orchestra guitarist Chris Caffery which focuses on, of all things, hot sauce. Chris has just debuted his own line of hot sauce through High River Sauces, called Tears Of The Sun. The sauce, which is an amazing blend of habaneros and tropical fruits, is something Chris has been perfecting for quite some time now. We chat about his initial ideas for the sauce through its eventual distribution (he's signing bottles for the first shipments). In addition to the sauce, other topics include Chris' ongoing musical projects. Some of those projects include performing with polka king Jimmy Sturr (with whom Chris has been friends for years), as well as one-offs with Doro Pesch (Chris was going to Doro's DVD release party in NYC the night we spoke). Of course, there is the ongoing monster that is TSO - Chris gives his thoughts about that juggernaut as well. posed the inevitable Savatage reunion question, which Chris was very open to.
